Our Annual Crock Pot Cookoff

Every February - we wrap up the shortest month with a group lunch and cookoff competition.  Lots of crockpots and a couple years ago we added a dessert category.  And we are always amazed by how talented and creative everyone is.  And such tasty dishes!!  We happily announce this year's winners (by popular vote):  

• 1st place - Phil Simmons with Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta (he gets to keep the coveted trophy for a year!)
• 2nd place - Rick Burgess for his sweet and spicy meatballs
• 3rd place - Ron McCarty with his American Meat and Potatoes (which also included mac and cheese... and venison)
• Best Dessert for the 2nd year in a row was Darron Kanyok with delicious Lemon Meringue Pie 

After lunch we all ran around the block to take advantage of this lovely weather and help digest.  Thanks to everyone who brought something!  See you next year
